Olufemi Babalola, a lawyer, with particular interest in commercial law, has established himself as a note-worthy international lawyer. Olufemi has advised on several multi-million dollar projects, which include Nigeria’s rural telecom programme, Britain’s privatisation of London Electricity Board, etc. He is known to have an entrepreneurial edge to his practice. He has successfully negotiated project finance for high value projects. He was the project legal adviser for the construction of Nigeria’s Maritime Resource Centre, a multi-million dollar project, serving Nigeria and West Africa. Olufemi is an entrepreneur with vision, determination and ability to understand complex project issues with focus on developing solutions that that are appropriate.
Ferdinand Agu, MFR
Mr. Ferdinand Agu, holder of Nigeria's national honour, MFR; an Architect, who played a key role in the design and construction of 2 foremost residential estates in Nigeria, situated in Abuja and Lagos, respectively, is at the heart of policy development in the company. Ferdinand served as the Director General of Nigeria’s National Maritime Authority between November, 2000 and March, 2005. As the Chief Executive of the main maritime regulatory agency in Nigeria, Ferdinand drove the development of profound positive changes in the maritime sector, with specific reference to the introduction of the cabotage policy and enactment of the Cabotage Act, 2004. Working with other agencies, he was a key member of the team that guided the introduction of the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code in Nigeria, on 1st July, 2004. With the ever present instinct of an architect, he conceived and started the construction of a complex of buildings that now serves as the foremost training institution for maritime personnel in Africa. Ferdinand was Special Adviser to the President 2011 - 2015. Architect Agu is well versed in project management, team building and strategic planning. His deep knowledge of various subjects ranging from architecture, management, public administration, philosophy, and to enterprise is breath-taking.
Mr. Oladele Alake; Strategist, public affairs analyst, media adviser, public administrator and an entrepreneur is an outstanding alumnus of the famous University of Lagos. As an accomplished journalist, he rose to the peak as a young editor of a major national daily. Dele Alake was the Commisioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State Government from 1999 - 2007. His performance defined that role for many state governments in Nigeria. Dele had successfully masterminded election strategy at both national and state government levels. His pioneering and visionary approach helped to mastermind the establishment of major media outfits in Nigeria. Mr. Alake is widely travelled and versatile in his capabilities. He brings his breadth of knowledge and independent thinking to bear on company's policies and management.
Peter Stephenson, OBE is a veteran of international trade protocol, having worked with the British Department of International Trade and at various senior levels in British missions abroad, rising to the level of Director of Trade. He holds the honour of Her Majesty the Queen with his award as Officer of the British Empire. Peter brings his vast experience of international trade to the advantage of the board and management.

Mr. Leke Ojulari, a seasoned accountant, fellow, Chartered Institute of Accountant, trained in the United Kingdom, where he worked across many sectors of this G7 economy, which notably included being at the heart of operation of a major public transport utility. In Nigeria, Leke worked with a major mining and marketing multinational at very senior level across accounts, finance and logistics, before joining the board of Gravitas. Leke's forte includes strategy, planning, audit trail, and organisational structuring. Leke brings his wealth of international and senior corporate management experience to his role in the guiding the growth of the company.
Olubunmi A. Adeyemo
Director, Site & Logistics Management
Mr. Olubunmi A. Adeyemo, brought his experience of running a logistics support enterprise for overseas clients in England to establish logistics management framework on the Gracefield Island. Bunmi started out as a property consultant and facilities manager before embarking on logistics support venture. Bunmi’s dedication to duty and meticulous standard of ensuring efficiency in our procurement procedure is proving invaluable to our operations.
Jumoke Owoyeye, graduate of Banking and Finance from University of Port Hacourt is an experienced facility and administration manager. Jumoke has attended courses in facility management and is widely travelled. She is responsible for day-to-day management of site staff and facilities. She manages our interface with users of our project site.
Accounts And Finance
Mr. Olumayowa Tayo is an experienced accountant with responsibilities spanning book-keeping, management of banking relationships, internal control, payroll management and superintending office procurement process, asset management and stock control. Mayowa has attended courses nationally and overseas in the course of his work. He has hands-on experience in project finance and cross-border transactions.

Jaco Van Zyl is a seasoned engineer with multi-dimensional technical training ranging from Engineering and Construction Software applications to cost management, Work Programme Development and Management to core civil engineering works. He has over 3 decades' experience of actual engineering construction, site management, team building, programme management, infrastructure and building construction. Jaco brings his wide experience and boundless enthusiasm to bear on his work in coordinating engineering services and team members in Gravitas.
Ozoemezina Nwafor, a top-class graduate of Urban and Regional Planning from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, provides in-house support and is a resource base for our external planning consultants. Ozo is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Town Planners NITP, and equally a registered town planner, who brings fresh vigour and wide vision to the innovation and long-term planning that are part of the hallmarks of Gracefield Island. Ozo brings critical advantages of fresh thinking, good understanding of intellectual basis of urban planning and extensive travel across continents to his duties as resident planner.
