Lagos State Government is our joint venture partner on the Gracefield Island project.  Lagos State, with its vibrant population of about 16 million people (United Nations Estimate- 2002) and unique natural attribute of being a littoral state, bounded to its South by Atlantic Ocean, with the lagoon coursing through it, has been a dynamic centre of commerce for Nigeria and indeed, West Africa. Lagos State Government has traditionally been interested in being a catalyst for enterprise, and this is reflected in its decision to establish commercial entities like Ibile Holdings with interest in diverse ventures from construction of markets to taking equity in mining entities, and an enterprise such as Lagos State Property Development Company, etc. The business relationship with Lagos State Government is that of arm-length joint venture cooperation thus, commercial and corporate decisions by Gravitas remain free.

Pan African Capital Holdings Limited is a proprietary investment company with special focus on key sectors across Africa including financial services, hospitality, real estate, etc. Working with commercial banks, PAC was able to raise debt for Gravitas.

SVA International is a fully independent architectural practice, enhanced with majority black ownership and a qualified B-BBEE rating.  They provide focused and purposeful design solutions for every project drawing on our rich and varied knowledge base. SVA took active part in our urban planning exercise with Aurecon, focusing on the massing aspect, especially.

Skystone is a financial advisory and capital management company, with specialist experience in project finance. It has brought this experience to our project thus ensuring sustainable financing model for our project.

Greenfield Cities Alliance (GCA) is the leading global network of large greenfield urban developments around the world. It is an initiative of New Cities. Being a member of this international alliance, Gracefield Island has access to a large resource base on green and sustainable matters.
